This all-natural formulation, composed of 100% ingredients from natural origin and 98.2% from organic farming, is designed to deeply nourish, protect, and soothe the skin with a rich blend of botanical oils and waxes. At the base, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil and Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil* provide lightweight yet intensive moisture, mimicking the skin’s natural sebum to prevent dryness without clogging pores. Cera alba (beeswax) forms a natural protective barrier that locks in hydration while shielding the skin from environmental stressors. Sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil and Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) extract add emollient properties and a dose of antioxidants, aiding in skin repair and reducing inflammation.
The inclusion of spent grain wax, argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, and Plukenetia volubilis (inca inchi) seed oil* further enhances skin nourishment, delivering essential fatty acids and restoring elasticity. These ingredients work synergistically to soften rough patches and maintain skin suppleness. Rub a fingertip’s worth of balm between your fingers to soften, then smooth tenderly over baby’s bottom. Pay special attention to fold and creases. Use at least four times a day. Babies who are teething, being weaned or starting solids may benefit from more regular applications as these milestones can be accompanied by diaper rash.
How much of this product should I use?
Just a thin layer of Baby Bum Balm is needed each time. Reapply with every nappy change and bath.

How do I prevent nappy rash?
Nappy rash can happen if baby’s skin is in contact with bacteria from diaper- wearing for prolonged periods, amongst other reasons. The best way to prevent nappy rash is to try and keep baby’s nappy area as clean as possible. Do change baby’s diapers frequently, apply an antibacterial balm such as Baby Bum Balm during every diaper change, and try not to fasten diapers too tightly to allow breathing space.
