Do we have to rinse baby with water after using this cleanser?
No, you don’t have to rinse off as our cleansers are mild and gentle. However, if your baby has sensitive skin, we recommend rinsing off any residues.
How often should I bathe my baby?
Babies can be bathed once or twice a day. Despite our warm weather, try to avoid bathing too frequently, so that your newborn’s delicate skin can maintain its natural moisture and pH balance. Always use safe, mild, and effective cleansers.
Why do you use Maris Sal in this cleanser?
Newborn skin is very thin and fragile. We include Maris Sal, which is salt from the Dead Sea, because it contains essential minerals for the skin such as magnesium and potassium. It is proven to reduce inflammation and improve skin barrier function.
Is it okay to use only water (with no cleanser) for bathing my baby?
It depends on the type of water. Hard water can potentially dry out your baby’s skin. Furthermore, water alone may not be enough to clean your baby’s genitals and bottom as baby’s stools have a higher percentage of fat compared to adult stools. Therefore, we recommend using a safe, mild, and effective cleanser to help cleanse effectively.
