Twice a year, ECOCERT visits our facilities to audit our entire operation – from marketing claims, product labels, product ingredients, through to production process and factory environment. In allowing a third party to authenticate our work, we believe that we can remain transparent and accountable to ourselves and our customers. Our cleansers are made with natural sugar-based surfactants such as coco glucoside and decyl glucoside, which are safe and mild. Because they are not irritating to the eyes, they are considered to be tear-free. However, it is important to note that our eyes exude tears whenever it detects a foreign element or object. This natural reaction is essential and normal as it is how our body protects our eyes. Even when foreign elements as mild as water gets into our eyes, they will react to some extent.

Our cleansers have minimal bubbles as we use plant-based sugar and amino acid cleansers.

Usually, a cleanser becomes watery when the gelling agent, which in our case is natural xanthan gum, has failed to maintain the viscosity or thickness of the cleanser. Natural products are quite sensitive, and their stability may be affected by storage conditions when they are on the shelves or in the storage of the retail outlet. Unfavourable storage conditions will affect the stability of the cleanser, causing the cleanser to become watery. However, in terms of product safety, it is still perfectly safe to use.

We use only natural and organic ingredients. There may be differences in colour for cultivated plant materials due to seasonal or climate influences. For this reason, each batch may vary slightly in colour. We do not use synthetic dyes and prefer to leave the colour of products as they are.

The tiny particles are caused by re-crystallisation of high melting point natural ingredients such as Beeswax or Shea Butter. It will dissolve with your hand temperature. The product is still entirely safe for use.

Not at all. We use essential oils instead, for natural fragrance. We do not use artificial or synthetic fragrances as some contain phthalates, which is a hormone disruptor. In addition, some children and adults have allergic reactions to synthetic fragrances.

Yes, all Buds Organics products are free from parabens, phthalates, silicone, and other harmful and harsh ingredients. We use only ingredients from natural and organic farming with no synthetic chemicals such as pesticides and insecticides.

For best quality, ensure that products are kept out of direct heat and sunlight, with their caps or covers closed when not in use.

All our products have a three-year expiration from date of manufacture, and will last for 6 months once opened within this expiration period.
