Environmental Benefits: All surfactants are naturally derived and easily biodegradable. After washing, soap breaks into lime soap in waste water, which is considered as immediate degradation (primary biodegradation). Complete degradation will happen after a few hours. Sugar derived surfactant used in this product is also highly biodegradable.

Potassium soap, a traditional plant-based cleanser, effectively breaks down dirt, stains, and grease while remaining biodegradable and environmentally responsible. The inclusion of non-ionic surfactants enhances cleaning performance without harsh chemicals, making it suitable for sensitive skin and fabrics. Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice*, organically sourced, soothes and protects skin during use, helping to prevent dryness or irritation. Xanthan gum and carboxy methyl cellulose act as natural thickeners and stabilizers, improving texture and ensuring even distribution. Sodium gluconate, a biodegradable chelating agent, boosts cleansing power by binding hard water minerals, reducing soap scum and residue. Natural tocopherol (vitamin E) and helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil provide antioxidant support and skin-conditioning benefits. The fresh scent is provided by citrus aurantium dulcis (sweet orange) peel oil* and parfum derived from essential oils, offering a pleasant aroma without synthetic fragrances. 50ml (1 cap full) for a medium load of normal soiled laundry. Based on washing machines with 4-5kg capacity. This laundry detergent can be used in 30°C to 90°C washes. To respect the environment, run your washing machine with a full load, choose a low temperature washing cycle and follow dosage instructions.

What is a natural surfactant?
Surfactants are cleaning agents that does grease removal work. We do not use conventional synthetic surfactants, which are petroleum-derived. Instead, our surfactants are plant protein-based and sugar-derived, which are natural and biodegradable.
What are optical brighteners and why are they unsuitable for baby’s laundry?
Optical brighteners, fluorescent bleaches, and optical whiteners are designed to reduce the yellowing of fabrics naturally, brighten fabrics and their colours. Optical brighteners are not effective unless they remain on the fabric after washing. When clothes are washed with detergents containing these agents, chemical residues stick to them. Exposure to optical brighteners which will remain on clothes can cause eye irritations and skin reactions in babies with sensitive skin.
Why are colouring and synthetic fragrances (used in conventional detergents) unsuitable for baby’s laundry?
Chemical colouring and synthetic fragrances are used in detergents to keep the colours alive and clothes smelling nice; however, these chemicals are very harsh on the skin and can cause allergic reactions, skin irritation, and rashes.
